Application Process

Upon entering the application portal, find the program of interest (e.g. Chemistry Ph.D.) and use the "+" sign to add that program to your application.

The application has four sections: Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information, and Program Materials.  Please note that there are separate tabs under the Program Materials section for uploading your personal statement and entering the names of your recommendation writers.

Questions?  Send us an email (chemgrad@temple.edu) and we will be happy to help!

Deadlines

For full consideration, applications should be received by December 15 for fall admission (January 1 for international applicants). Applications received after these dates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applications for spring admission should be received by September 15 (August 1 for international applicants).  Spring admission is rare as our coursework is designed to start in the fall semester and thus spring admission is only considered in exceptional circumstances.
